Introduction:

This instrument is an automatic intelligent device designed and manufactured in accordance with the technical requirements and relevant regulations specified in the 2025 Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, "0983 Cone Penetration Test Method", and the standard GB1790-2003 "Medical Vaseline". It is mainly applicable to semi-solid substances such as ointments, creams, and their commonly used base materials (such as vaseline, lanolin, beeswax), to control their properties such as hardness and viscosity, and to avoid affecting the spreadability of the drug. Drug cone penetration refers to the depth that a cone of a certain mass penetrates into the test sample within 5 seconds after being released downward from the cone penetration tester at 25°C by free fall.

I. Main Functional Features

1. The instrument mainly consists of a chassis bracket, a touch display, a lead screw lifting system, a constant temperature control system, a cone rod assembly, a displacement measurement system, and other components.

2. Adopting computer control technology, it automatically completes the cone penetration test and automatically displays the test results after the experiment is completed.

3. It uses a touch screen human-machine interface, with intuitive display, rich content, and convenient operation.

4. The automatic lifting structure ensures smooth lifting and accurate positioning. It uses a knob encoder switch and a lifting button switch, and drives the lead screw slider through a stepper motor to achieve high-precision fine adjustment for rapid lifting.

5. The instrument has an integrated constant temperature water bath inside, with constant temperature control functions of refrigeration and heating. It adopts semiconductor refrigeration technology and PID control algorithm, with a temperature control accuracy of up to ±0.1°C, meeting the temperature requirements of national standards.

6. The designed cold light source cone illumination technology makes cone alignment convenient and accurate. The cone rod assembly has high precision, is easy to disassemble, and strictly meets the requirements of national standards.

7. The system can store 200 sets of data, which can be viewed directly on the touch screen or exported via U盘 data transfer. At the same time, the system has a built-in 485 interface (MODBUS protocol), enabling real-time networked data transmission.

8. The self-developed computer control software can realize communication with the computer and complete the cone penetration test.

9. The instrument's main unit is equipped with one cone as standard, and optional accessories include No. I cone, No. II cone, No. III cone, sample cup, and optional micro printer.
